I highly recommend CSP. Warren is an extremely knowledgeable instructor. I came to the class never having handled—let alone fired—a pistol, and left with the skills and confidence to do so safely. The hands-on training and live-fire sessions alone are worth the price of admission. I am planning to return for refresher sessions and other safety classes.

A coworker recommended Cold Springs Precision to me, and I’m very glad he did. I’ve since recommended the pre-permit class to many others. Warren presents the classroom material in a clear and meaningful way. I was especially impressed with day 4, which not only provides hands-on training but also helps you identify the best type of handgun for your physical build and capabilities.

As a retired, combat Infantry veteran, and Drill Sgt, I was kinda insulted that I had to take a class to get the NY pistol permit. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much of the class. I sure am glad that I took that class. Warren is very knowledgeable, and a stand up guy with old school Christian values. He made the class interesting, while dropping nuggets of knowledge. I learned so much everyday from Warren. I can't say enough good things. I was so impressed, that my wife, who already has her permit, is going to take Warren's class. He taught, while making it fun and interesting. He helps YOU figure out which pistol you might want to carry. The range day is payday. The class gets to practice everything they've learned. The proof of his teaching skills, and knowledge, will become evident when your rounds hit the target. Very well done Warren. I learned so much "advanced" knowledge, while making a new friend. Every day I would state, " this alone is worth the price of admission." If you're considering getting a concealed carry permit, you will have to take a class. It may as well be taught by Warren. You won't regret it.

I already have my concealed carry permit, but wanted to reinforce what I learned three years ago. This class was beyond expectations. I was engaged and interested throughout all of the classes.
Warren is extremely patient and thorough. He knows what he’s talking about. And everything he told me I was able to confirm through the hands-on experience.
My aim improved significantly just in this class and I learned a lot about which guns work for me.
Whether you are just going for your permit or an experienced the owner, I think that Warren’s class will benefit you!!

Phenomenal place to learn about gun safety. The instructor was knowledgeable on the subject matter and brought real live experience to the class room.
